SASSICAIA

Il Bolgheri Sassicaia è un vino DOC la cui produzione è consentito nel livornese, ed è uno dei vini italiani più pregiati e costosi.
Il Sassicaia è nato negli anni '60 del '900 a Bolgheri, in Toscana, nella Tenuta di San Guido, diventando il precursore di tanti nobili vini affermatisi in seguito.
Tutto però comincia intorno agli anni '40 quando il marchese Mario Incisa della Rocchetta, grande esperto di cavalli, creatore della famosa razza Dormello Olgiata, e grande appassionato di vini francesi, importò da Chateau Lafite, che apparteneva al suo amico Elie de Rotschild, alcuni vitigni di cabernet sauvignon e di cabernet franc.
Lo fece perchè aveva notato la grande somiglianza morfologica del terreno su cui erano piantati questi vitigni vicino Bordeaux, a quella dove li avrebbe piantato lui a Bolgheri (Livorno).
I primi assaggi li ebbe intorno al 1944,ed inizialmente la produzione di Sassicaia era ad esclusivo uso familiare, fino al 1968 quando ci fu la prima commercializzazione di questo fantastico vino, diventando rivoluzionario per quello che sarà uno dei prodotti di punta del Made in Italy.

The Bolgheri Sassicaia DOC is a wine whose production is permitted in Livorno, and is one of the most prestigious Italian wines and expensive.
Sassicaia was born in the 60s of 900 in Bolgheri, Tuscany, in the Tenuta San Guido, becoming the forerunner of so many noble wines established themselves as a result. 
But everything begins in the '40s when the Marquis Mario Incisa della Rocchetta, a leading expert on horses, creator of the famous race Dormello Olgiata, and a great lover of French wines, imported from Chateau Lafite, which belonged to his friend Elie de Rothschild, some vines of cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc.
He did it because he had noticed the great morphological similarity of the land on which they were planted these vines near Bordeaux, to where he would have planted in Bolgheri (Livorno). 
The first tastings had them in 1944, and initially the production of Sassicaia was for the exclusive use family until 1968 when there was the first commercialization of this fantastic wine, becoming revolutionary for what will be one of the leading products of Made in Italy.

Sassicaia est né dans les années 60 de 900 à Bolgheri, Toscane, dans la Tenuta San Guido, devenant ainsi le précurseur de tant de vins nobles eux-mêmes établis en conséquence.
 Mais tout commence dans les années 40 quand le marquis Mario Incisa della Rocchetta, un expert de premier plan sur des chevaux, créateur de la célèbre course Dormello Olgiata, et un grand amateur de vins français, importés de Château Lafite, qui appartenait à son ami Elie de Rothschild, dont certains vignes de cabernet sauvignon et de cabernet franc.
Il l'a fait parce qu'il avait remarqué la grande similitude morphologique de la terre sur laquelle ils ont été plantés ces vignes près de Bordeaux, où il aurait planté dans Bolgheri (Livorno).
 Les premières dégustations ont eu eux en 1944, et d'abord la production de Sassicaia a été pour la famille de l'utilisation exclusive jusqu'en 1968 quand il y avait la première commercialisation de ce vin fantastique, devenant révolutionnaire pour ce qui sera l'un des principaux produits du Made in Italy.
