Tour del marmo - Marble tour

C'è una cosa che va provata sicuramente ed è il Tour del Marmo,nelle cave sulla Alpi Apuane a Carrara.
Visitare i luoghi dove si è estratto e si continuerà ad estrarre (spero pertanto tempo) uno dei più belli e conosciuti marmi al mondo,un viaggio dove c'è stata tanta fatica per portare tanta gioia,Davvero un bel modo di passare alternativamente una giornata.

Andate a "FANTASCRITTI" dove c'è il cuore dei bacini marmiferi,in cui lo staff portandovi al centro delle Alpi Apuane vi ritroverete nella cava in galleria più bella del mondo.
La visita ha una durata di circa 30 minuti, il primo tratto di 600 mt si svolge in pulmino e una volta in cava sarete guidati in un percorso stabilito (agibilie a tutti, anche disabili) dove potrete osservare i macchinari e vi verrà illustrato come avviene il metodo di taglio e l'estrazione in un ambiente suggestivo in cui si perde il senso delle proporzioni e il tempo si ferma. Un paesaggio quasi lunare che da tanti viene chiamato per le sue immense stanze CATTEDRALE DI MARMO.

There is one thing that is definitely proven and is the Tour of marble quarries in Carrara on the Apuan Alps.Visit the places where you extracted and you will continue to pull out (I hope therefore time) one of the most beautiful and best known marbles in the world, a journey where there has been so much effort to bring so much joy, really nice way to spend a day alternately .

 

Go to "Fantascritti" where there is the heart of the marble basins, where the staff taking you to the center of the Apuan Alps you will find yourself in the quarry in the gallery world's most beautiful.

The visit lasts about 30 minutes, the first stretch of 600 meters is held by bus and once in the quarry will be guided in an established route (agibilie to all, including disabled) where you can watch the machines and you will be shown as it happens the method of cutting and extraction in a picturesque setting where you lose all sense of proportion and time stops. An almost lunar landscape that is called by many for its immense rooms CATHEDRAL OF MARBLE.

Acobaleno d'estate

Si accende l'Arcobaleno d'Estate. E' l'edizione numero zero, ma la Regione Toscana, con il supporto di Toscana Promozione e di Fondazione Sistema Toscana, ha già messo in moto una serie mirabolante di iniziative con l'obiettivo di rilanciare il settore turistico.

L'appuntamento clou è il grande brindisi collettivo del 24 agosto alle ore 19 e 30. Saranno protagoniste le spiagge della costa ma non solo. L'evento coinvolgerà l'intera macchina promozionale dell'arte e del turismo nel weekend che va dal 23 al 25 agosto.
Ci saranno circa duecento eventi già previsti, ottocento stabilimenti balneari coinvolti, serate speciali già programmate dal Carnevale di Viareggio del 24 agosto al Festival Pucciniano, da Bolgheri Melodies fino alla mobilitazione delle 110 associazioni dei toscani nel mondo che porteranno il brindisi nelle più importanti città dei cinque continenti: Montreal, New York, Berlino, Buenos Aires, Cordoba, San Paolo, Rio de Janeiro, L’Avana, Jacutinga, Belo Horizonte, Sidney.

“Vogliamo promuovere l’offerta balneare della costa toscana soprattutto in un momento difficile per il settore – ha aggiunto l’assessore al turismo Cristina Scaletti -. Per questo, già da questa prima edizione sperimentale di Arcobaleno d’estate, è determinante il coinvolgimento delle imprese che gestiscono gli stabilimenti balneari e contiamo nella grande esperienza e partecipazione degli operatori del settore”. 
Ogni zona coinvolta nel progetto proporrà un assaggio del proprio territorio per brindare alla Toscana, utilizzando i propri prodotti tradizionali.
